What we do

Our powerful and authentic stories make it possible for us to cut across politics and appeal to a broad audience at a personal level.

We have shown that when bushfire survivors are supported to tell their stories and advocate for faster climate action - politicians, governments, regulatory bodies and the courts must acknowledge the human impacts of climate change, resulting in increased climate ambition. This is because stories build connections between people faster than any other form of communication, and rapidly build empathy and support in the listener.

Our core objectives

  • Regulatory and planning systems

Challenge regulatory and planning systems to prioritise the safety and future of all Australian communities through fast-tracked emissions reduction

  • Lobbying politicians and governments

Lobby conservative and progressive politicians and governments to be more climate ambitious

  • Social license of fossil fuels

Challenge the social license of fossil fuels by showing the personal costs of the mining and burning of fossil fuels.
